Fam Pics 7-2011

The Edwards family decided that at this trip we should try to get some family photos. In the past we have tried outdoors and gotten some great shots of everyone, except Eve. With a timer you can obviously never tell if she is even looking at the camera, so this time we left it to some pros. We tried a newer place in Draper, called Fotofly. They were brilliant!
The photographer was so good with Eve, I couldn't believe the adorable shots she could get of her in one sitting. I have tried many times and Eve will have none of it.
They had the best studio, they had so many adorable backgrounds to choose from. Everywhere from paper to a steel corrugated wall. Eve's favorite was the brick wall with a blue door, she kept knocking saying "Hi?" seeing if anyone was home. They also had a wide range of cool furniture and props. A lot of it I wanted to take home so badly!

After every good pose from Eve I would think to myself, "Well, that was the last she will get of her smiling" But they kept on coming, I will apologize for the photo dump...I am just so in love with these pictures! She really let Eve just do her own thing and snapped some pretty candid shots.

Anyways, I was pleased to say the least, and am looking forward to returning when we are in Utah next.

Off to the Races!

Last month we had the chance to join Braden's family at the Belmont! It was so exciting, I have never really been into horse racing, but this event was so fun. So many people got really dressed up and wore big fancy hats, it was so interesting. It made me excited to go next year (hopefully) and do the same.
We aren't big into gambling, but we made a fun game where we would "wager" personal things between the two of us, such as a guilt free girl/guy night out, Eve and potty duty for a weekend, etc. We had a lot of fun, and good thing we didn't bet money, only one of my horses won out of 11 races!

What was so fascinating, was the amount of money people were betting on this single race. Millions and millions just at that one facility!
