This little guy melts my heart. He's so funny, and has such a great personality. There is so much personality in this little person, he sure keeps us on our toes. He will do ANYTHING. To make you laugh, especially His sisters. He likes to dance, but only with his index fingers pointed out, it's pretty adorable.
He has sure grown up a lot since 18 months, I feel like that was a real turning point for him, he understands a lot more, he is obedient-ish as opposed to not at all. He just "gets it" more than he used to. He is still my busy busy boy, I'm constantly cleaning up after him. It's pretty safe to say that if it is curiously quiet, it means he is eating something he shouldn't,mor getting into something he shouldn't. I left eves birthday cake out the day after party, so it could thaw a bit, it had been in the fridge, and it got quiet. By the time I found him, he had eaten more than half of what was left....but at least he used a fork. You have to pick your battles right?
Just recently, I put in a Daniel Tiger episode to keep the kids occupied while I took a shower. I came down stairs, wondering why it was so quiet. Well, Graham was hiding in the corner with a maple syrup bottle....wait, let me emphasize that it was EMPTY. I am not even certain how much was in there before he got a hold of it, but when I got there it was bone dry and Graham had a very big grin on his face. On the bright side, when he finally crashed from his epic sugar high, he did take a long nap. Bonus.
Greatest thing ever, nursery! He absolutely loves nursery! He now will pick up toys at home when you sing the "clean up" song they sing in nursery. He loves singing songs, and he is always worn out after church, it's so nice not having to wrestle him the last 2 hours of church. He can now use an iPad pretty well, he always passes it to me saying "ok". That's his way of telling you he wants it, it's one of his very few words. He points to the fridge, and says "ok!ok?" He loves the movie "monsters university", it still is the only movie that he will sit through. He will sit there, mouth wide open, and not move until it's over. All day he is trying to scare you, he raises his hands up "roar!" I came home the other day and I had bought him a shirt that had sully and mike on it from monsters U. His eyes got all big, and he grabbed it exclaiming "ok! Ok!" Then he would point at himself "ok? Ok?ok!?" Asking me if he could wear it. Its so funny, he can accomplish so much with only the word ok and some gusto. His other words are, bubble (bath) car, shoo shoo (train) shoo (shoes) uh uh ( he says it waving a finger like I do when he's doing something bad). I admit with shame he learned that from me. But, he learned something new from Eve. Now when he gets mad and raises his voice, meh puffs out his chest, and tries to put his hands on his hips (like Eve does) but he ends up putting his hands closer to his armpits so they look like bird wings. It's pretty hilarious. I am obviously trying to get rid of that habit, but it's so hard not to laugh when he does it.
He still is a great sleeper, he falls asleep most anywhere. Car, crib, apparently high chair. This has happened more than a few times, I have a video of him actually eating in his sleep! I couldn't believe it. He fell asleep, but kept eating his sandwich, and he didn't quit until he ate the whole thing. It was amazing. I love this little boy, he amazes me every day
