One perk to my parents' house being "not quite finished" was the construction. I don't mind the noise, so it was great having different projects being worked on. Nothing major in the house, but mostly the landscaping, driveway, seeding and leveling the yard, etc. Graham was in heaven. He couldn't wait to get out there the second he heard some piece of machinery starting up. And obviously sometimes he couldn't even wait for pants haha. He would sit out there for such a long time, I'd bring him out a drink, and he would just sit back and hang out in his special chair, watching the construction.
