Table construction under way. These will be the sawhorse supports. I saw this table at restoration hardware, but it's retailing at $2500.00, and the bench at $1600.00. Not happening. So I decided I'm going to build it. And I also had a specific size I wanted, and I can make it the right height etc. I knew I wanted the rough farmhouse look, so I figured mistakes just "add character" right? Anyways, Braden is super supportive, no matter how lofty and unrealistic my goals might be.
I made a bench for the backyard as sort of a rough draft, so see if my construction can stand the destruction of the kids, and so far s good.
