This little lady surprised us all by getting into the ocean, she's usually not a big fan. She's a good little swimmer, but just doesn't love it. This particular beach is pretty shallow for quite a ways before it gets deeper, so I'm sure that helped.
Grandpa convinced them that they should try to make our pit into a mini pool. But, every time they brought back a bucket of water, it just soaked into the sand (obviously), so they had to make LOTS of trips. Genius. Wore them right out. He generously rewarded their efforts afterwards with the best ice cream on the Island.
Also, if how awesome your day was is measured by the amount of sand in your drawers, Greta wins by a landslide.
